When people ask me why I became a boudoir photographer, my answer is simple: because I’ve been where so many of my clients have been. I’ve faced my own insecurities, looked in the mirror, and struggled to see what was beautiful. For years, I felt uncomfortable in my own skin, unsure of my worth, and hesitant to embrace my body as it was. My Own Insecurities Like so many women,
I grew up with images of beauty that I didn’t see reflected in myself. I would scrutinize every inch of my body, wishing I looked different, skinnier, more “perfect.” These insecurities weighed me down, affecting how I saw myself and how I showed up in the world.
